Woodie Artists Gallery Dave DealDave Deal's fascination with cars, tanks and planes provides plenty of variety, but he's got a soft spot for woodies. A year before he got his driver's license, Dave "sort-of" learned to drive in his family's 1942 Ford woodie. Big Dave Deal got his nickname in the Marines and it stuck. For years, his work has been featured in car magazines, spawning a generation of automotive cartoonists. Revell even produced a series of model cars called 'Deal's Wheels'.
