On the first week-end in August 2000, thousands of street rods traveled to Louisville, Kentucky for the 31st Annual National Street Rod Association (NSRA) Street Rod Nationals. It is the world’s biggest automotive participation event. Of the thousands of street rods that gathered, just a hand-full were woodies.
Hercules Motor Car Company exhibited their '34 Ford-styled phantom in a partially built, 'Stage 2' body/chassis kit. Several completed Hercules woodies could be seen outside.
